Greetings Everyone! As difficult a time as it has become since the coronavirus impacted our world, it has also been a time for deep reflection and introspection. We all have a chance to re-evaluate our values and priorities. It is the cooperation among countries and the coordination of international policy that has helped control the spread of the virus and manage a very serious situation. Such a global commitment in fighting this common enemy is truly a sign that we as human beings can come together and accomplish great things if we so choose.
Our environment deserves no less. We can use this time to reflect on our own vulnerability as human beings and on our irrefutable dependence on our environment. Let us now join together and commit to making the necessary changes to ensure that the health of our planet is continuously protected and promoted.
We enthusiastically welcome you to our next meeting to be held via Zoom. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the Zoom meeting link!
