International Women’s Day – Dinner

On March 8th, for International Women’s Day, the (SWHR) Status of Women and Human Rights Committee will host dinner with 2 guest speakers working full-time to end violence against women.
Shilan Zade is a Kurdish-Canadian Faculty Member, Certified Humanitarian, Project Manager, Meditation Instructor & Life Coach, and Member and board consultant at the International UNESCO Body & Mind Wellness CLUB. She is a hard-working advocate for the Middle East’s Women, Life, Freedom movement.
Alexandra O’Donaghy is the coordinator for the West Coast operations of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Committee of the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
Please join us for an evening of reflection, inspiration and culture.
We will have opening and closing songs to share the culture and ethnicity of the causes and raffle prizes to support each initiative.
