International Women’s Day – Dinner (SAVE THE DATE!)
March 8

On March 8th, for International Women’s Day, the Status of Women and Human Rights Committee will host dinner with 2 guest speakers working full-time to end violence against women.
Shilan Zade is Kurdish and works with a non-profit division of the UN to promote recreation and sustainability. She is a hard-working advocate for the Middle East’s Women, Life, Freedom movement.
Alexandra O’Donaghy is the coordinator for the West Coast operations of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Committee.
We hope to universalize learnings from these 2 movements to inspire our guests to protect girls, women, and even men, from dangerous ideas and behaviours.
Stay tuned for more dinner and registration details.
