“How to Shake the Winter Blues”
All members are welcomed to a unique presentation by Dr. Kaitlyn Goldsmith, who will be speaking about self-care and how to use your values as a compass for creating meaning and fulfillment during difficult times. She will also be discussing the benefits of mindfulness meditation and how to incorporate mindfulness into your everyday life to improve mood.

Dr. Kaitlyn Goldsmith is a clinical psychologist and Instructor in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia. In her clinical practice, she works with patients recovering from reproductive cancers through Vancouver General Hospital’s Reproductive Oncology Supportive Care Program. She also works with clients with sexual difficulties in her private practice in Vancouver and with clients with general mental health concerns in Abbotsford. Dr. Goldsmith has published several scholarly articles and book chapters in the area of women’s sexual health and well-being and has been featured in several well-known publications such as Glamour and Cosmopolitan magazines.
