Charlotte Gurney is 26 years old and was diagnosed with high functioning autism at age 14. Her talk will include her own experiences with the school system and the lack of appropriate help that was offered. Her aim is to educate, talk and advocate for people with autism. She hopes that in describing her own experiences, other children will not suffer the same lack of appropriate assistance.
Charlotte is happy to answer questions at the end of the session.
