A 1960’s fashion show and design exhibit to commemorate the visionary members of the UWCV who purchased Hycroft in 1962. This event will celebrate design from the decade and is presented in association with fashion historian Ivan Sayers from the Society Museum of Original Costume (SMOC) and design students from the Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU).
Guests can choose from two exciting options at this two-tiered event:
Costumes and Cocktails on the main floor featuring exhibits by KPU students. Have fun dressing up in your best 1960’s retro clothing while enjoying signature drinks and groovy bites. Time: 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Tickets $60.00.
Legacy in Fashion presented by Ivan Sayers includes mingling during the main floor Costumes and Cocktails event with the KPU students, followed by a “Mad Men” inspired dinner and 1960’s vintage fashion show in the Ballroom. Tickets $175.00. A tax receipt will be issued for the maximum allowable portion. Dinner and Fashion Show: 7:00 – 9:00 pm
