A Rare Invitation to Vancouver’s Storied Garden Estate
Step beyond the gates and into a little known world in the heart of Vancouver. On July 13th from 2 to 6pm, spend an afternoon at the exclusive Hycroft Secret Garden Party, a special fundraising event hosted by the Hycroft Heritage Preservation Foundation.
Arriving through the hidden gate on Marpole Avenue, you pass back in time to the wonder of Hycroft, an iconic Edwardian Era estate with its exquisite heritage mansion and lush expansive gardens. Enjoy a complimentary welcome cocktail and nibbles as you view the thirty-four impressive sculpture pieces by Chaka Chikodzi featured throughout the two acre grounds, and a classic car show from the Vintage Car Club of Canada displayed just inside the wrought iron McRae Avenue gates. Estate tours, historic photo and fashion displays will inform you, and musical and poetry pop up performances will entertain you throughout this delightful afternoon.
Experience history from another era of elegance and sophistication. A garden party for the ages awaits!
