Speaker: Sheila Early, Forensic Nursing Pioneer
Sheila Dawn Early is President of the Canadian Forensic Nurses Association, a consultant and educator with expertise in the emergency care of sexually assaulted patients. She is the winner of many awards including the Vancouver YWCA Woman of Distinction in Health and Wellness (2019), the Canadian Forensic Nurses Association Visionary Award (2017), and the International Association of Forensic Nurses Achievement (2010).
On December 6th, The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women, Ms. Early will speak about B.C.’s progress in forensic health care, the current level of violence against women and children, and what we can do.
