Celebrate the beauty of nature, storytelling, and conservation during an inspiring summer evening at the UWCV at Hycroft.
Join award-winning wildlife documentarian and photojournalist Isabelle Groc for a special screening and director’s talk exploring the fragile relationship between wildlife, urban development, and biodiversity preservation.
Known for her powerful visual storytelling, Isabelle’s work captures the changing landscapes where human settlement and wildlife habitats intersect. Her acclaimed documentary Sandpipers’ Last Supper, filmed at Roberts Bank in Delta, received the 2025 Impact Docs Outstanding Achievement Award and highlights the urgent need to protect vulnerable ecosystems.
Before the presentation, guests are invited to arrive early and enjoy a guided garden walk through the Hycroft grounds led by expert UWCV members, followed by light refreshments at Hycroft.
Presented as part of Summer at Hycroft, this special evening is a collaborative initiative between UWCV’s Environment and Garden Committees and Wild Birds Unlimited.
